Registered Veterinary Technician / Licensed RVT

All three of our pre-vets got into vet school & while we are very proud of them, it means we must look for new staff. We are looking for a Licensed Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team.

We teach each other so we can continue to improve our skills and excel in what we do. We hold monthly team meetings & celebrate our RVTs during Vet Tech Week. Our team members and doctors attend CE together and have nightly dinners and fun activities.

We just did the Squid Games Trials Experience and previously had dinner followed by Laser Tag event, enjoyed an Escape Room, Axe throwing, Paint & Sip and bowling. We also have our annual amazing holiday party that everyone looks forward to held at Casa Madera last year and at Catch & Beauty and Essex in previous years.

Main duties include all tasks allowed by RVT license in CA. Yes, our doctors let you close the skin layer for surgery incisions if you're comfortable with that & perform dental extractions, if you want to learn our doctors and staff will teach you. Other duties include staff training, contribution to our monthly meetings/CE, cleaning/sanitation, & other duties as required.

This is a full time position consisting of four 10 hour shifts or five 8 hour shifts, including Saturdays or Sundays (but not both). Wage commensurate with experience ($25-$30/hr). If you are interested in taking a lead role in the future, we can discuss that as well.
